NJRDC-Nepal is playing a leading role in drawing development goals by bringing everyone together through sports with the main slogan of “Sports for Health, Sports for Nation”.
The relationship between Nawa Jagaran and sports:
This organization has completed various sports competitions with the main objective of promoting idea of “Sports for Health, Unity and Development”, but still considering the sports sector as its main task, protecting & maintaining the Nawa Jagaran Sports Ground, in the coming days, sports will be carried forward in a more professional manner. A separate 15-member Nawa Jagaran Sports Committee was formed with the mandatory participation of the development coordinator-01, deputy coordinator-01, secretary of the working committee and the treasurer of working committee, and organize the sports competition in accordance with the rules and regulations and taking charge of the sports competition with the full participation of the working committee and conduct different sporting events every year.
The goals that this organization is trying to achieve by running the sports competition:-
– Conducting national level sports programs annually.
– To produce players of national and international level.
– Organizing entertaining sports programs from time to time.
– Arranging training for players from time to time.
Long term sports plan of this institution:-
– In the near future, with the help of governmental and non-governmental organizations and various donors, the Nawa Jagaran Cricket Ground will be developed as a Nawa Jagaran Cricket Stadium by improving the facilities.
– Conducting district and national level sports competitions and building physical infrastructures for that.
